JJ Grey & Mofro

Doors Open @7PM | Show Starts @ 8PM

Released in February 2024 and produced by Grey, Olustee finds the North Florida born and bred Grey singing his personal stories with universal themes of redemption, rebirth, hard luck, and inner peace. With his music, Grey also celebrates good times with lifelong friends, often mixing the carnal with the cerebral in the very same song. Fueled by his vividly detailed, timeless originals, spun from his own life and experiences in the Northern Florida swampland, Grey’s gritty baritone drips with honest passion and testifies with a preacher’s foot-pounding fervor.

Grey, speaking of the upcoming tour, is excited to get started, saying, "Took long enough but it’s coming! Finally going to get our behinds out there to Texas, Arizona, Nevada and the West Coast to do that Olustee thang! Can’t wait!"

Theory of a Deadman: Unplugged with guests Mick Blankenship and Ayron Jones

Doors at 6PM | Show starts at 7PM

With sky-high hooks, riffs as thick as a 2x4, rumbling grooves, and a razor-sharp sense of humor,

Theory Of A Deadman) have quietly persisted as an unapologetic, unbreakable, and undeniable

hard rock force with major multi-platinum hits and countless sold out shows in each of the past

two decades. Jamming together in basements throughout high school, the band burst out of their

small hometown of North Delta, British Columbia with the self-titled, Theory of a Deadman,

during 2002. In addition to the double-platinum breakthrough album Scars & Souvenirs [2008]

and gold-certified The Truth Is… [2011], they have notched a procession of hits, including the

gold-certified “All Or Nothing,” “Bitch Came Back,” and “Lowlife,” platinum-certified “Angel,”

“Hate My Life,” and “Not Meant To Be,” double-platinum “Bad Girlfriend,” and triple-platinum

“RX (Medicate).” As the biggest smash of their career this far, the latter marked their third #1 on

the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks Chart and garnered a nomination for “Rock Song of

the Year” at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. They have logged two Top 10 debuts on the

Billboard Top 200. In 2020, Say Nothing landed at #2 on the Billboard Alternative Albums Chart

and #3 on the Rock Albums Chart. Plus, it earned praise from American Songwriter, Billboard,

and Classic Rock Magazine who awarded it “4-out-of-5 stars.” Now, the award-winning

quartet—Tyler Connolly [lead vocals, guitar], Dave Brenner [guitar, backing vocals], Dean Back

[bass], and Joey Dandeneau [drums, backing vocals] have teamed up with Canadian country star

Cory Marks to create a new version of their 2014 track “Livin’ My Life Like A Country Song”.

Tyler had this to say, “it was a blast tracking this little ditty! Excited for everyone to hear our

reimagined ‘Livin’ My life Like A Country Song’ with our friend Cory Marks! Catch it live on

the Unplugged Tour this Fall!"

Marcus King Band Goes to School: The Tour

Doors Open @7PM | Show Starts @ 8PM

With Special Guests - Dogpark

GRAMMY® Nominated Blues and Country singer songwriter Marcus King is bringing MARCUS KING BAND GOES TO SCHOOL: THE TOUR to the Avalon Theatre in Grand Junction on Friday, May 9th with special guests Dogpark.

Marcus King faces heartache, addiction, and mental health head-on in his music. Pain quakes below the vibrato of his voice, and his delivery weighs heavy with booze-drenched regrets and mistakes in lonely hotels. The GRAMMY® nominated fourth generation musician from Greenville, SC, started playing guitar at 8-years-old following in the footsteps of his guitarist Father and Grandpa. Logging thousands of miles on the road as “The Marcus King Band,” he established himself with unparalleled performance prowess. During 2020, he linked up with Dan Auerbach and cut his solo debut El Dorado, garnering a GRAMMY® Award nomination for “Best Americana Album.” Between headlining venues, he performed alongside Chris Stapleton, Greta Van Fleet, and Nathanial Rateliff in addition to gracing the bills of Stagecoach and more. He has launched various mental health initiatives, including a guitar auction collaboration with MusiCares. Now, his 2024 album Mood Swings feels like the moment of baptism when water washes away a life’s worth of sins and degradation and all that’s left is a revived, yet still real-as-hell primal scream. It’s as if King strained raw soul straight from his gut up through that broken heart and on to the record under the watchful eye of Rick Rubin. Emphasizing his vocals front-and-center more than ever before, the trusty guitar he’s so often associated with plays the sideman this time around (though there’s no shortage of impressive shredding). For as dark as everything seemed, you can’t help but feel a sense of hope in the power of Marcus’s voice.
